Ball State/ Miami 0 and the rest of the early MAC games

Already down on the Cards -16'. Miami is down near the bottom of the MAC in both offense and defense. I'm not a big fan of coach Montgomery either. The Cards still have a lot of motivation and do not see any letdown here. I think that they can cover the 16'rather easily, they are simply far,far superior on both sides of the ball and very difficult to defend.

Good Luck Spang. I took the underdog approach on the MAC midweek plays last week and got smoked. I'll have to do a little more diggin before I pull on them this week.

Thanks Blaster, I'm aware and this is play is also complicated by the fact that CMU is being very quiet on whether Brunner or LeFevour will start at QB. Both are very good but Brunner lacks LeFevour's rushing ability. Also to consider is that CMU hosts Ball State next week in the MACs biggest game in quite some time.

I just think that NIU was exposed for what they are last week by the Cards'. They are a decent team and that will defeat the bottom feeders of the MAC, but they have struggled vs the better offenses that they have seen. It will be difficult for Kill to get the boys back up after the ass kicking they took at the hands of Ball State. I know that Irish, myself and several others took their lumps on that game last week. Hopefully NIU tosses another clunker against a very good CMU bunch.
