The Northern Illinois Huskies look to bounce back from a heartbreaking double-overtime loss when they host the Ball State Cardinals this afternoon.

The Huskies are 9-9 SU and 5-3 in Mid-American Conference Action. They have covered 10 of 17 this season including 5 of their last 6. Last time out they suffered a 101-100 double-overtime loss to Akron and they should be able to use that heartbreaker as a further spur at home today.

The Cardinals are 8-10 SU, just 3-5 in conference play and their ATS record is a money-burning 5-10-1. They have lost 6 of their last 7 on the road so getting just 2.5 points today may not be enough. Ball St's offense is led by Chris Williams who is averaging an impressive 22.6 points per game, albeit on 39.9% from the floor.

Northern Illinois had won five straight prior to their midweek defeat and today we expect the home Huskies to pull away at the end and post a solid victory.

Recommended Play: Northern Illinois -2.5
