If you like it at -7 you could still buy it down for about -130 to -135 depending on your book. Books have been doing this a lot this year, increasing the juice and giving the dog more pts to try to get the "casual" bettor to grab the pts and get the betting percentages closer to 50/50

i'm pretty sure they increase the juice so they don't get killed on people teasing all the games around 7 down to a pk. they make a 7 pt fav a 9 pt fav +110 and then you can only tease it to -2 on a 7pt tease.
