Bankroll Question

What should the value of a unit be calculated from? I've seen it as a unit eguals a certain percent of the bankroll, I've seen the bankroll should be 40 bets. I've even seen 1 unit = 10% bankroll.

What is everyone's opinion?

it should be whatever you feel comfortable with..

1 unit for me is very small.. but i hardly ever play one units.. only on parlays teasers and props..

but my highest bet which is 10units is still only about 10% of my bankroll
