Barbershop -$2 million?

What is that all about? Stealing Harvard has gotten much more publicity and is in 500 more theatres. And I don't think Ice Cube is all that popular.

I'll gladly take Stealing Harvard +$2 million.

You seem to be the man on these wagers, but personally Barber Shop looks like the best comedy in a long while. Stealing Harvard doesn't appeal at all.

1605 isn't many theatres. It will be lucky to gross $7 million and I'm sure in 2,366 theatres Stealing Harvard will get at least $5 million.

We'll see if I'm right.

I would be shocked if Barber Shop didn't destroy Stealing Harvard. Barber Shop looks as though it will have a good crossover audience - whites as well as blacks. Stealing Harvard just looks like a bad movie.

Boy was I wrong on this one. Barbershop $21 million, Stealing Harvard $6 million :shrug:

figured Barber Shop would kick ass, but may not have been correct on the cross-over audience. Traveled up the coast a few miles to Seal Beach/Long Beach border to see it. My wife and I were the only white people in the audience! Funny movie.
