Round 1 play (4pts):

Simon Khan to beat David Horsey -105 @ Five Dimes
Two recent winners on the European Tour: Khan won the BMW PGA Championship in May, while Horsey won the BMW International Open two weeks ago. But that's where the similarity ends ... apart from that win, Horsey hasn't come close to making the cut in any other of his last five events or on his course debut last year, whereas Khan has had a couple of other top-30 finishes recently, has made the cut in five of the last seven years here and held the 54-hole lead here two years ago (he finished 5th). That Khan ranks 12th in greens in regulation on the European Tour is a good indicator as to why he has done well here in the past; that Horsey ranks 152nd in greens in regulation is an equally good indicator as to why he should struggle here again.

[unofficial rd1 system plays: Villegas tb Davies -120; Foster tb Whiteford +105; Wilson tb Willett -125; Villegas tb Quiros +100; McGinley tb Zanotti -125; Fraser tb Siem -125; Wilson tb Holmes +115; Sabbatini tb Ishikawa +110; Fernandez-Castano tb Slocum -110]

Round 2 play (2pts):

Shane Lowry to beat Pablo Larrazabal -135 @ Five Dimes
Looking to Lowry to continue his good form for at least one more round. He has only missed one cut in his last nine events, finished 3rd in the JP McManus Invitational earlier this week and recovered from a double-bogey on his second hole to finish 3-under-par and in 12th position today. Larrazabal has shot a lower 2nd round score than Lowry just three times in 14 common events this year and with a course history that reads "mc-mc", he looks unlikely to do so tomorrow.

[unofficial rd2 system plays: Kaymer tb Davies -133; Canizares tb Davies +110; Wood tb Havret -120; Lowry tb Wall -120; Quiros tb Davies +120; Lowry tb Edfors +105; Villegas tb Quiros +105; McGrane tb Clarke -111; Wood tb Jacquelin -105]

Round 3 play (4pts):

Trevor Immelman to beat David Horsey +110 @ Five Dimes
Opposing Horsey again as he failed to capitalise on his opening round. By contrast, Immelman played much better today, but as yesterday he couldn't keep a double-bogey off his card. It means that he has been playing better than his current 21st place position and that has been the case since he returned to the Tour after the surgery in October that meant that he couldn't start hitting balls again until February. He is now injury-free and his wrist isn't causing him any problems, so while I don't see him Immelman winning events in the near future, another decent round here will be a continuation of his return to Tour golf. Horsey is much more erratic and these look decent odds with which to oppose him.

Round 4 play (2pts):

Trevor Immelman to beat Fredrik Andersson Hed -111 @ Bet365 [also available @ Extrabet]
Looking to oppose Andersson Hed who has missed the cut in his last three events - by ten shots last time out - and who has been playing much worse than his current leaderboard position would suggest. He currently lies in 17th place, but ranks 59th (of 67) in driving distance and 59th in greens in regulation this week. With strong winds forecast for tomorrow, and Andersson Hed not having a particularly good record in windy conditions, his overall lack of ball control should cause him a lot of problems tomorrow. Immelman was once again solid, if unspectacular, today and should make a good opponent for Andersson Hed in testing conditions.

[unoffical rd4 system plays: Sabbatini tb Storm -111; Villegas tb Schwartzel +130; Quiros tb Davies -111]

Anyone know why this wasn't top 70 and ties to make the cut. A bunch of big names missed it on the number.
