So, I'm looking at tomorrow's games......liking Hou/Pitt over 9 in the first game of the double-header, and the Yanks over 11.....
Hou play is at -110
NYY play is at -130
A two teamer risking $55 pays $130.77
An "if bet" risking $55 to win $50 on the Houston game, and then rolling the whole $105 onto the total of the NYY game, pays $130.77....
Both payout are the same? How could that be? Are the odds so effected by the -130 bet that the payout could be the same????
Any advantage to playing the parlay over the if bet or vice-versa?
