Norma and Norman bates in the early years when Norman first started on his killing spree. Norman enjoys killing very much. Norman has numerous mental issues as you will see.

I watched a recap show after the last Bates episode and was surprised by the actors with pretty heavy English or British accents. Pretty sure Norman and Emma are from overseas.
Same goes with Walking Dead. Blows my mind how they can just ditch the accent and talk without one. They should just talk like normal all the time. :0003
I guess it wouldn't be a show without Norman but he's annoying the hell out of me and should be dead or locked the fuck up. Can't stand the little bastid. And he better not hurt Emma.

The show is all about Norman. After all it is his early years as a sick, serial killer murderer. He seems to love Emma and is her protector. Much like he is his mothers protector.
