So Bama +3 over Texas St ****
Think this is 9th place vs 12th place. Both teams are struggling this year. Tex is 1-9 ats Both have lost 3 or 4 in a row. Best player in the gym tonite is So Bama's Jones and D-2 tranfer Gaiter and both are jags. Tx st is 7-12 ats home and away. Both these teams are at the bottom of the Sun Conf. They have tried to replace the floor general but Dru is out and there gd play can shoot but are missing a penetrator They rely on 6'9 Love and he is not at 100%. Drinnon is not playing who is there pt gd trying to replace last yrs pt gd Harrell. And again the last 4 yrs in controlled the ball 99% of the time. So Dru was his replacement but he is now out for the season They run a flex offesne but many times Love is at the top of the key when Bobcats penetrate and shoot so you have your best inside scorer and rebounder at the FT line who is in there flex rotation away from the bsket for an off rebound. Think So Bama has 2 scorers that will cause problems for the Bobcats. Bobcats shoots 3's and are 7-25,6-29,36-110, 4-17 . Not sure of the % but its not good. They must make them because the coach is allowing them to take them. But at some point when you can't hit the 3 you make some adjustments. Dawson is 36-110 and he is there best player. Going to the game tonight and have been winning going against the Bobcats So Bama is the weakest team I think the Bobcats see this year but the home court is not a huge advantage exepth the Tx Band. Last yr Bama won but you have 2 teams that are 1-8 and the other a little better Wrong team is favored since Tx St had lost 9 of 10 . This is a pickin game so I will grab a few points tonite Both teams have lost 3 and 4 in a row so someone has to win I'll take the points tonite and sit in the Jags section and buy a cotton candy . I think the two best players are Gaiter and Jones and the guy who sells cotton candy has no idea of any players on either teams. And the 3 pt shooting % of the Jags is pretty bad too..
