shamrock 206...kimbo 234.(whoa...28 pound difference?)

as for the fight itself,i`m embiggened to learn that shamrock is still eating solid food at his age...

?I have to say I am a "little" bit shocked at the odds being so slanted toward kimbo, though?yes shamrock has been around since the beatles became known(the lifeform, not the group),...yes,kimbo has a 28 pound weight advantage...but,shamrock does have grappling and submission skills and in the off chance he gets kimbo to the ground,he could get a submission?.I mean, my 75 year old neighbor probably has better cardio than slice(and he has m.s.)?.

still, not having seen ?the world`s most dangerous man? in forever(and he was pretty bad the last few times we saw him),it`s near impossible to make a reasonable prediction?no props yet....maybe slice itd if it isn`t too expensive as a parlay stuffer?....any wager at this stage in each guy`s career would be akin to betting what color car drives down the street next...

I hate to admit I`m looking forward to it(the bellator undercard is a bit interesting)...it`s free on spike tomorrow night at 9 p.m. eastern(with an episode of "Jail" rounding out what looks to be a primo double feature).......

:mj07:..hey...entertainment is where you find it.......:grins:

Kimbo turning his back and Shamrock doing the shove seemed a little rehearsed to me.

I'll admit it. I want to see this fight. It's not about titles or rankings or the future. Just an old fashioned Pride like fight. Shamrock's last fight was in 2010 and he looked.... not good.

Fuck it. Going to put some beer money on Shamrock just because.... well I'm a little nostalgic. :popcorn2

Shamrock's chin left him a long time ago and if it is tested then this is over. But for me this is about knees and hips. Do Shamrock's still work enough to get a guy who is clueless about ground fighting to the mat? By today's standard, Shamrock's ground game is very basic but it does not need to be great to beat this Kimbo.

The co-main though should be a great fight.

a side note....chris heatherly(at the bottom of the undercard) was recently tko`d by "dodger montano"in the first round(yes, the same dodger that we just finished watching flee in terror from cathal pendred for 3 "edge of your seat" rounds at the last ufc event in me-hi-co).....

haven`t had a chance to check out his opponent(a less than amazing 6-3) yet and it probably won`t get lined anyway so I`m probably just wasting everybody`s time...

useless info(I recognized the name from checking out montano)....

I also wonder if Kimbo's knees are going to get up the steps to the cage. I did not expect him to look like the Kimbo of 08 but he has lost a lot of muscle mass

Massive fave Chandler needed to win that fight...and he did. Easy win at home for Chandler.

Yeah he looked great and happy to see him back in the win column. This guy has been in some great wars over the years.

If he lost 4 in a row he would have dropped out of Top 30 for sure, he needed that win badly.
