Outright plays (2 units):

Gil Morgan to win 16/1 e.w. @ SkyBet
Retaining two of last week's selections and continuing to stick with Morgan who is close to his earlier season form, but continues to be priced at slightly higher odds than most of the other leading players. William Hill offer 18/1, but would rather take the extra place on offer at SkyBet instead.

Bob Gilder to win 20/1 e.w. @ Stan James
Stunning price from Stan James on a player who finished just one shot out of the playoff last week. SkyBet make him their 3rd favourite at 9/1. As stated last week, he is a player who plays well in bursts and he has now finished in the top-six in each of the last four weeks, winning once. He is a real contender this week.

Dana Quigley to win 28/1 e.w. @ Centrebet
Dropping Smyth whose price has plummeted this week and opted for Quigley instead. He had two top-5 finishes last month and finished very strong last week after an opening 76. Just looks a big price for a player who has won this season already and finishes in the top-5 about once in every four tournaments.

Expect this to be fought out by favs, so top of the list for me is Lietzke 12/1, who lives in Kansas, won down the road at Tiffany Greens last year, and has the game for this great looking course.

Of the others, I have to play Ed Fiori at 125/1, as he has a PGA Tour pro am victory and did ok on his debut last week

Also, Fuzzy Zoeller, who's too big at 50, especially if he's in a going mood..also has 2 pro-ams to his name already.

Looking forward to seeing some highlights next week as the course, which is only two years old looks great.

Matchup plays (2 units unless stated):

Bob Gilder to beat Des Smyth -125 @ Centrebet [4 units]
Not only has Gilder finished so highly in the last four events, he has beaten Smyth in all of their common events in the last eight weeks. Smyth's 10th place finish last week was his first top-10 for two months and that hardly compares to Gilder's current form.

Tom Jenkins to beat Fuzzy Zoeller -111 @ BetandWin
Will continue to oppose Zoeller in his current form even though he did manage a top-10 finish three weeks ago. He finished ahead of Jenkins by a single shot that week, but Jenkins still has a 6-2-0 h2h lead over the past three months.

Wayne Levi to beat Walter Hall -145 @ Five Dimes
Levi has been in decent form in the last couple of months with 26th being his lowest finish in his last five events. Over the same period of time, he leads Hall 4-1-0 h2h and looks a good player at the moment to side with for matchups as in his last three events he has improved his score in every round so motivation after an indifferent start does not seem to be a problem.

Gil Morgan to beat Dana Quigley -133 @ Five Dimes
Just feel that Morgan is the more consistent player and more likely to finish in the top-5. This is reflected in the outright odds so he is justifiable favourite. Quigley should have to finish very high up the leaderboard to deny Morgan so hopefully the outrights will cover any loss on this play.

1st round plays (2 units):

Gil Morgan to beat Dana Quigley -121 @ Five Dimes
Jose Maria Canizares to beat John Jacobs -115 @ Five Dimes

Question for Stanley (or Jack): Is ****** (fivedimes) now a four letter word? I saw that any reference thereto has been purged from my recent posts, and now I see it is being purged as soon as it is typed. Should I only invoke the names of sponsors included on the links at the top of the page? I thought I should check.Thanks.

He was in contention last Sunday for what may have been the first time since even he doesn't remember when. Now what?

Gonna bite on a line I can't say I've ever seen before today in a 2rd rd match.
Sheehan +675

B.SHEEHAN (2ND RND) +675 5/17/03 2:10 PM EST 814 D.STOCKTON (2ND RND) -1235

After looking at Sheehan dismal stats thought this to be a sucker bet (which it will probably end up) but apon review of Stocktons stats maybe not,as Stockton has shot 75 or above in 6 out of last 10 rds.--and at age 62:confused: I know I myself make anyone over over 60 pay off after every hole in skins(just in case):D
Just kidding. Also Stockton finished 1st in putting yesterday and still was beaten by Sheehan. I'veseen sicker dogs get well.
