Sh*t, almost got screwed with the 1H over.

BC/Syr playing up tempo early on, converting transition buckets and hitting shots. Would have been enough for 1H total to hit over 67.5, right? Nope. Before Duany's last second 3 ptr., both teams combine for 5 pts in almost 4 minutes of basketball right before the half ended. Any 2nd half thoughts side or total?

I think you're right, super. Looks like the total's already dropped a point. Also leaning to Syr +4.5 to basically win the game.

Unfortunately neither of my books have a line on Niagara second half. I'm watching the game on TV and Niagara really rallied at the end of the first half to take the lead. Cansius looked terrible.

If you had Niagara -2.5 at the half you got really lucky -- after the half was over Cansius got hit with a T and Niagara made the free throw to go in the locker room up by 3!

Not following the Niagara game, but that's quite a break for Niagara 1H players. Which book do you play at?

I honestly thought Syracuse would step up with some "D" in the 2H. So far I'm wrong. I didn't take the side, but still with the UNDER 74.5 (All World).

I spoke too soon, Grand Central put up 2.5 as the second half line for Niagara.

As Box says, Cansius has a lot of heart but Niagara looked like they had the Griffs number in the last five minutes of the first half, especially keeping Bush in check.

FWIW I missed the first 10 minutes of the game, just got back from church.

I took Niagara -2.5 for the second half.

I'm not sure I'm going to be successful with Niagara -2.5 second half. The purple can't seem to hit a shot and are making a lot of turnovers which is keeping Cansius in it. Niagara is obviously much more talented -- Reaves has something like 15 RBs already and Bush has 3 fouls but Cansius is hanging around.

In terms of second half plays, one doesn't have a lot of time to make the call so you really have to know who you like for the game. For example with BC/SYR I really wanted to play the Under 143 for the game but I didn't get home from church in time to get my play in, so I considered the Under 75 for the second half a gift (69+75=144) plus with BC up they're going to slow it down a little.

In terms of support from a "higher authority" I always put 10% of my weekly winnings in the collection plate on Sunday! That way He and I are on the same side!!! LOL

super -

Would be NET winnings? :D
I seem to be praying a lot more often this coll BB season. Maybe I should be giving a portion of my winnings to the "real man".

BTW, congrats on hitting the BC/SYR under. I guess that collection plate stuff DOES work.

Yeah, The Big Man and The Man both get 10% LOL

Niagara shooting 27% from the field including 1-14 from the arc and they're still ahead! Outrebounding Cansius 51-31 with 3:00 to go.

Went big on Temple -3.5.

Dr. Freeze --

I can't get away with that, I had a decent year beating the books last year and put so much in the plate they elected me an Elder of the Church. LOL
