That is a reasonable request, based on the inferior talent of all the other teams in the Ncaa. No team or conference can match the talent level of the SEC :shrug:

4 team playoff, woohoo. Can't wait for all the bitchin and moanin from teams 5-8 that they were just as deserving as team #4.
I can't believe they go to make a 'radical' change/progress and they only make a 4 team playoff. 8 team should have been the minimum they instituted with more realistic look of 16.
But yes, the controversy will always be there. The media makes fun of the system now, yet they will still be the same ones stirring the pot no matter what playoff format would be used.
agreed...step in the right direction.....but should be atleast 8 teams.....teams 4-7 will almost look identical at the end of the year...
as teams keep jumping into these conferences making them super conferences...champ games should be mandatory for each one....making 6 AQ's(maybe with a stipulation, champ team has to be ranked in top 15)....then have 2-6 wildcard teams....
in my view 8 is ideal...12 would be my cutoff....
We'll get to 8 teams by 2025. Baby steps, per usual for the NCAA. 8 teams is a perfect number though. Because now you don't have a 9-3 BC team making it in over an 8-4 Georgia team (for example) which would run the Eagles off the field.
who cares, the NCAA is as crooked as it gets and it just means more money for them and more opportunity to take advantage of the less fortunate.
