BCS Scenario

We all know the system sucks but figured I'd throw this out.

Lets say Florida goes 13-0 winning the SEC title and win every game by 50 points. Every other team in the nation has at least 3 losses. Georgia is 9-3 and ranked 2nd in the BCS. Florida has already beaten them twice, each time by 50 points.

Georgia beats Florida in the BCS Championship game 7-6.

Does anyone in their right mind believe that Georgia is the national champion? Of course the AP would vote Florida so we'd have 2 "champions".

Ranting, but just sick of the system, sick of seeing people pay thousands of dollars to attend, and that garbage game last night has left an awful taste in my mouth.

And I do know that the BCS is trying to pair the best 2 teams to play...but at the same time, the coaches poll has to award their version of the title to the winner of this game.

So the best team is by far Florida but Georgia automatically gets at least half of the title...

I think Georgia in that scenerio would deserve a split they held a team that obviously can score a shit load and had previously beaten them twice by 50 points to 6 points. That would be impressive.

Also, as a Notre Dame fan, I think you should set your worries a little lower like the Carquest Bowl seedings or the Military Bowls.

Just kidding about both, I love your passion, but that passion is one of the things that the College Presidents like to is all the talk.

Does Georgia still deserve it if Fla lost their best 2-way player. His name is Clark Kent and he plays QB and Strong Safety

Granted, injuries are part of the game, but I was going off the word "deserve". Its funny, I think we all have so many ideas but when it comes down to it...I think we'd all love and be happy with just using the BCS to take the top 6 or 8 teams and play it out. Its not rocket science and every excuse they have used (such as class time....since they are now playing into mid-Jan....too many games..now some play 14) etc is completely gone.

Oh well, at least I can bitch
