The vote is rigged. It's not possible for Ricky Smith to have been voted out if he was not in the bottom 3 while Trenyce and Carmen who were in the bottom 2 were all of a sudden in the top 5. After all don't forget it was supposed to be combined from the voting this week and last week.

So how did they rig it, you asked?

Simple. If you go to Fox's message board you'll notice that people stated that when they tried to phone in for Ricky at the number they gave, the line was dead. I'd be curious if anyone was able to vote for Ricky - if they couldn't they guaranteed 0 votes this week which even combined with last weeks vote would guarantee his voted out.

Why would they rig it? you ask.

Simple. Ricky Smith's demographic is already accounted for with Ruben Studdard who is going all the way. But if they kick off Carmen who is clearly the best looking on the show, they stand to lose the young white male viewer and of course that is the prime demographic of fox viewers.

Let's be honest Carmen has no talent and I guarantee you Simon voted her as his wildcard choice solely because Fox told him to because they wanted a good looking girl in the competition. That's also the reason they didn't go through with kicking Carmen off last week as they should have.

If you don't believe me, just wait and the truth will come out.

I don't believe ya........no way i's rigged......as for your "source" come on give me a break........do you honestly think Fox would "rig" that show......one of their most popular shows and their going to "rig" it............whatever.......what a load of crap....can just see the Fox execs:

"Hmmmmmm.....let's see........American Idol one was the most popular summer show on TV..........American Idol 2 is our most popular show we have right now............ok guys....let's rig it.....the publicity would be great" Should be exactly what we need for American Idol 3....a nice big controversy"

Sure the millions of dollars Coke and Ford pumped into that show would be overlooked..........Gee I'm sure Coke and Ford would be overjoyed

American Idol rigged..........what a joke.......come on

I agree, I think it is fixed to an extent, also. If it isn't, why aren't the vote tallies broadcast & made public.........and better not, why aren't they certified by an accounting firm in the first place ??
I am also still wondering how the phone lines can handle 21 milion votes in 4 hrs......................Just a couple of random thoughts. & , Unless someone had inside info, I don't know why one would bet on it either.

the votes are made pubic.....but not until after the show ends :p

The reason why they don't release the info is because they don't want somebody looking at the results and then in turn voting because of what they saw. Meaning if say person "A" finished in 1st one week, then 1st the other week, and then 1st before that then they might figure ....."no point in voting for him.....he'll never get voted off............I'll vote for somebody else."

That's why they don't release the results

There is no possible way the votes are "fixed". Nobody at FOX would possibly be that stupid.........there is no reason to fix the results......it's that simple.......I mean.....why would they ever want to ruin a show that's bringing in millions of dollars

The show is not rigged.........like come on now....gimmie a break :nono: :nono:

are you serious when you carmen is the best looking on the show?

My vote goes out to Kimberly caldwell. much much better looking than nasty rag tag carmen in my opinion.

Yea I have mixed feeling about the show....but I do know that they were not true to the people that went out and tried out for the show......It was a big scam.

My wife went and tried out and the rules that they stated on the website, were very incorrect info.

As far as the voting goes.....I wouldnt be surprised if it were a little favored toward a few different people.
