Yale at Fairfield on Sunday

Any thoughts?

I got down on Fairfield +1.5; I think Yale might be a little burned out after 10 straight road games criss-crossing the country. Didn't see the game vs St Mary's, but seems they collapsed in 2H (which cost me some $$$)

Superbook,

You may have a good one here......as Yale did seem to tire in half 2 at St Marys........They will be a little outsized today and that could be advantage to Ffld in the second half.......BUT

Fairfield has not been shooting well but remain a sleeping GIANT....... ........They are not a good 3 point shooting team.......or much of a threat outside........don't frequently take more than 10 3s ........Freshman play has been good but sporadic....Maxwell, plays bigger than 6 5" ......Todd makes things happen moreso than Tyquan Goode, who, at 5'7" does not penetrate and dish as well as Todd.........Rob Thompson 6' 10".......dependable but Deng Gai at 6'9" 250 is the man inside blocking and altering shots. Garcia at 6'8" and DelFico 6'5" are also dependable scorers but not spectacular. If The big AJOU plays more its an advantage for Yale......he is soft........drifts outside looking for 3s (which he can pop) but rarely gets free.

Yale has DONE it..... Beat Manhattan, Beat a good Holy Cross, played tough in early loss to Ok St. shoot better are a threat from 3 and are better at the line.......Tough December schedule and travel may have taken its toll on the left coast but I believe they'll come ready, and deserve role of the fav here....

TOOOOO close to call this one......????????????

superbook, sorry didn't get back to you.I took Fairfield.I think with the twin towers back that makes like bear said "a sleeping Giant".I should of used another word and not "Giant".
TJ McHugh scored 0 pts in 23 minuts of play. Not sure if he got hurt or what. But the Stags blocked 8 shots and Thmsom had 5 of them.
I'm a little biased when it comes to Fairfield. There coach went to my HS and I worked with him. He also coached one of my kids in the Empire St games.
I'm in a big time depression right now.I won a lot of money yest on my Giants but still am shell shocked.Gonna take off a few days.At 7.30 last nite I was on the top of the world. At 8.15 I was looking for the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge. Later

Box -- no worries, I saw your post. Thanks.

McHugh wasn't hurt...just outplayed by Thomson, Gai et al.

Sorry about the Jints...hope you're back by Wednesday's night's URI @ Yale game.

Stay warm up there and stay off the bridge.
