Football betting players are on their toes for sleeper picks after Arizona rode a late-season streak into an appearance in the big game. Whose Super Bowl odds are worth a risk in your sportsbook this year?

Chicago (+1800) - Jay Cutler could make this team better on both sides of the ball. Offensively, it's a given, and if he gets a decent receiving target, the system opens up. But defense is where he could really help. With less three-and-outs than previous years, the Bears' D can stay fresher.

Washington (+1900) - The Redskins' defense received a big jolt with Albert Haynesworth, improving an already-stellar group. It's on Jason Collins to step up and lead the offense, but it'll be interesting to see how he comes back after the 'Skins courted almost every free-agent quarterback on the market. Another minus for Washington: they play in the NFC East, arguably the toughest division in the NFL, with the Giants, Philadelphia and Dallas.

Green Bay (+2000) - A change to a 3-4 defense and a season of improved fourth-quarter play could turn the NFC North into a three-horse race. Aaron Rodgers will be better, and if the defense can adjust quickly, you shouldn't hesitate to make the Packers one of your football picks this year.

Buffalo (+3200) - Terrell Owens brings a whole new dynamic to the team. He gives them confidence and adds depth to the receiving corps. Of course, this is all dependent on whether Owens can avoid being a distraction to the team. The defense is surprisingly good, and it had better be: they're in the AFC East with the explosive Patriots, the tricky Dolphins and well, at least they got the Jets.

Cincinnati (+5000) - This could be the biggest sportsbook surprise of them all. Carson Palmer is healthy, and Chad Ochocinco says that he's ready to settle down and play football as he realizes that his antics are easier to put up with when he's being productive. Also, like Buffalo, the defense is better than expected, and could be even better this year. If they can put up points in the stingy AFC North (home of Pittsburgh and Baltimore), they'll be fine. They share the same Super Bowl odds as Cleveland, and your handicapping software would definitely rather take Cincy.
