I must say that Penn State, however distasteful I find the program, may be a nice bet this year - you have a team that is forced by circumstance and outside pressure to bond. They are a group that wants to show the world they won't be dismissed. They are a group of kids that can only find some semblance of peace by winning. Now that womn't make a bit of difference against a well coached team with superior talent - but in evenly matched games - the emotion can carry them through. Nothing is better in life than to be dismissed out of hand and prove the dismisser wrong and be able to tell them "I told you so"
Maybe it's a bit too deep - but they seem to be playing as a team and I thought getting points today was nice....
Depending on the lines they get, there may be a bit of value in this team from here on out.
They would be 3-1 if their kicker could hit a field goal..
