Never heard a word about this, so I'm wondering the validity of it. Seems like a very big story if it was true. What newspaper was it?

Daily Oklahoman (Oklahoma City) or Tulsa World (Tulsa). Not a peep here on sports radio. Something like that would have made ESPN if it was close to being true IMO. Who were the Oklahoma St. players that tweeted this?

Yeah I made it all up....?? You can believe me or not, I dont care. It was posted all over the Tech rivals board...Been talked about all week here. They deleted all the threads regarding the topic on the rivals site, so I dont know the player who originally tweeted it. My friends said it was the Oklahoman that reported it after it was tweeted. End of topic.

It came from an article in newsok. Linebacker Shaun Lewis told the reporter that the center told one of his defensive tackles what plays they were going to run. Two draws to end the half. I started hearing about this on Sunday and if it is true I'm surprised the media hasn't said more about it. Sure hope Lewis was just having fun with them. If not, the center should be kicked out of the university.

Settle down big guy. Just wondering the credibility from which you got this news that as you put it "are reporting". I like to make sure it is credible before I give it any thought and if you believe everything that is posted on rivals message boards, well you're in trouble.

I'm not saying it's not true but because of who the OSU players said it about makes me think it's bs. The center is Justin Keown and he's been playing with a torn acl since the first of the year and then also spained it but didn't miss the next game.

IMO if you don't like a coach why would you play with a torn acl?

The upshot of telling the other team whats coming is that YOU are going to absorb physical punishment and get defeated each play.Players commit forty plus hours a week plus a lot of work and sacrifice to play football.I know because I played d one college ball and started every game.It doesn't make sense to me to work so hard to get on the field and then defeat yourself intentionally . You would also be dealing with some pretty pissed off teammates who weren't quitters someone would eventually tell the coaches and they'd be on the bench.Sounds false.someone can't admit they lost a bet and this explains things for them.

I heard some announcers talking about that player during a game and how much grit he had for going out and playing every game. Why not just whiff on some blocks if you're really trying to hurt your team. Given the so called facts I'm going to chalk this up as another b.s. rumor.

No, no it's true. He has a torn acl but he's still willing to go out there and risk further damage to his leg just so he can help OSU out on a couple of crap ass end of the half runs.

I know the acl injury is true, I was talking about what the OP said about the Tech players telling the Okla. St. players what the plays were.

Bring back Mike Leach :popcorn2

Isn't it funny that both Kansas and Tech are probably kicking themselves for letting a little personality differences get in the way of good coaching and a winning program. Both Leach and Mangino would be a sight for sore eyes to both of their ex schools. Sorry layinwood, I didn't catch the sarcasm until I read your post again.
