Like Hornbuckle in this one. He has the advantage in everything apart from wrestling.

I can't see Askren surviving on the ground with him

Not having the advantage in wrestling is pretty big especially when someone is as good at wrestling as Askren. I doubt Hornbuckle has faced anyone with the wrestling skills that Askren has. We're not talking about a guy that was just good in college, he made the olympic team which in and of itself says a lot about him. He's also a purple belt in BJJ so I don't see him getting sub'd.

I've been trying to decide how big to go on him. I love when I feel a dog could win, even if it's by lay n pray.

I agree Hornbuckle is the play here and Askren's best chance is to take him down, control him and try to catch an arm or leg or something. Also, they will finally be allowed to use elbows so wouldnt be surprised to see someone get cut open.

Wishing Askren the best but would stay away as this will probably go to judges, where anything can happen.

Damn, just two hours ago it was 130. That's what I get for waiting.

There is no way Hornbuckle will be able to stop Askren from taking him down. I also think that Hornbuckle will have no chance at getting up once he's down. This kid is the real deal with better wrestling than any of the other up and comers in MMA.

Yep last season's finals were 5 rounders but they were for the title. This season they are 3

i think 3 rounds favors askren...

still,he`s a scary guy...those fricking long legs are dangerous....the guy he kicked in the head was gono...and the tall bald headed guy was goat thompson...

this could swing either way...hornbuckle will end up on his back,though...he`s over-aggressive...

if it were 5,i`d probably take hornbuckle and play it fairly decently...being only 3,i`m hesitant......

as it stands,i`m looking to parlay josh thomson with some stuff...

Why not use Spencer Fisher in a par with thomson. I can't see Fisher losing to the guy he's fighting.
