Investing for Retirement

INVESTING FOR YOUR RETIREMENT:

----------

If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth

$49.00.

With Enron,

you would have had

$16.50

left of the original $1,000.00

With WorldCom,

you would have had less than

$5.00 left

But, if you had purchased $1,000.00

worth of Beer one year ago,

drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling REFUND, you would have had

$214.00.

Based on the above,

current investment advice is to

drink heavily and recycle.

It's called the 401-Keg Plan

Howdy, Hawkeye!

Nice to see you around also. If you are not planning on going to the Michigan game, let me know. That is going to be one tough ticket and I know several people that are looking to only go to that game--and I'm almost certain that game will sell out before single game tix go on sale...
The recruits are all looking good; lets just hope a few of them are still around in 5 years for Senior Day.
Ferentz expressed some concern about the Defensive line this spring--
I'm guessing that he has got some real studs to replace Roth, Babinoux(sp?) and the other seniors...Is it Sept 3rd yet?

Nole--

We leave on the 19th; bowl in Baton Rouge the 20th and 21st; 4 days in N.O. after that...starting to get antsy to go....have tossed the ball once at a local house that tries to put down the Nationals oil pattern...don't know how accurate it is, but its a lot harder shot than what I normally bowl on...4 or 5 of us are going on Saturday to throw one last time before we go...

Just found out one of the guys going is DRIVING down....Sending all my equipment with him instead of trying to pick out 2 balls to drag through airports/rental cars/etc...How phukin cool is that??

Hawkeye--

Hell yeah, I'll take that ticket. I'll get your e-mail from Jack and we can get it taken care of via e-mail.

Go Hawks!!

That's great you don't have to lug those balls all over. You'll probably be glad you have more than 2 to pick from. Tough shot, I'm tellin' ya.
I couldn't drive to a Nationals, I don't care where it was. Luckily we had one here in my backyard last year. Corpus Christi next year.

I still think it's a 3rd-4th arrow belly shot. It's there but the carry is much tougher. I left a ton of 10 pins and I felt I was making the proper adjustments.

Give us an update when you return.

Tear 'em up!
