"askjeeves" suits me fine.

My favorite is www.altavista.com You can click advanced and do very detailed searches with a boolean format to find what u need if it is obscure. I don't like google and ask too much because u always come up with other crap u don't want especially if u are trying to look up proper names. Altavista also has a convenient people finder to look up phone numbers all over the country.

Buddy aj has a great site for kids thanks. My grand kids are over all the time. That will help keep them busy.

metacrawler.com is supposed to search the search engines and eliminate the garrbage, but not so sure. Prefer hotbot and google for average topics
