[h=2]1. Ford F-Series[/h]<figure abp="705"><figcaption abp="706"><!-- slide body text --> YTD Sales: 51,540
Vs. 2015: -5.2%
The Ford F-Series pickup truck has worn the sales crown as best-selling vehicle in America for more than 30 years. Sales are down slightly for January, but numbers are still high enough for the F-150 to hold onto its crown. Doing some simple math, there are more than 2,000 Ford F-Series trucks sold every day in America.

Really like the new Malibu. Currently own a BMW540 and an Equinox for the daily driver but may be adding the Malibu shortly.

I have a hard time buying a car that is made in America.

For a few decades now, I have seen less and less American cars on the road that were made 10, 20 years ago while I see many foreign made cars still on the road.

By the way - the argument that "Hey, Buster! Many foreign cars are made in the US HA HA HA!!!" doesn't fucking hold water. They are made with higher quality parts.

A Chrysler Town and Country uses cheaper parts that a Honda Odyssey. Period.

I might pull the trigger on a US car if the warranty matches that of a foreign car. If you put a Toyota next to a Dodge - I pick Toyota every time. :0008

I agree with quality of Cadillac. If you blew up two Honda engines, you're doing something wrong.

If you'll remember the Cadillac Catera.....the 2004 or 2005 model, (I forget which one) was the most recent car that had the most problems off the line. In fact, due to the lemon law, Cadillac lost money on it. :0008

My wife loves BMW's, she driving a 535i now. I have a Lexus LS 460 and the ride kills BMW. Give one a test drive :0074

Only 1 Honda blew up. The other was torched by a locksmith trying to fix the column lock and using ... a blow torch to keep himself warm.. -5 deg outside ....car caught fire and went up in flames....I am pretty meticulous up keeping my cars. put on 30,000 plus miles a year driving cross country a lot. also lots of 2 -400 mile trips. Never had a break down Yup rem the Catera.

ok look i always buy american and my new car a doge caliber $11,000 final cost is dream to handle takes turns like cobra ...

I agree some foregin cars are more durable but i have had american made cars from jump street all used of course most got wrecked in major accidents

any way my Caliber 2011 only had 50,107 miles on it and when you look at it you think this car was 1 year old inside n out clean even the engine.

However i saw the battery was orginal and knew this was going to be first major price replace.

sure enough 2 months later Thanks giving day bye bye battery would not hold charge any longer.

dealer gve me 50% off thier price at $98 i tried to get lower i only $60 on me .

Well the car scrap yards sell a very good NEW Battery named Terminal post with old one only cost $55

and my GUY mechanic i only had to give $10 for installing it what a find he was from another freind Paul who lives in same development about 3 miles from me

HE was a master mechanic at Pacifico years ago but now3 works on his own labor rate $25 per hour

We should always try and buy American. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to understand how the economy works in this country. I'm a union electrician so I always try and support UAW made cars. Sure I could buy a Toyota thats assembled in Texas cheaper but I opt not to support foreign companies over American. Its just he way I was raised and my belief. You have to do some homework to see where its assembled and where the parts come from nowadays.
As for reliabilty, my wife owned a Nissan and Toyota before we were married. Both were junk, Nissan timing chain blew up at 75,000. I currently drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee and Saturn Vue. Couldnt be happier and will buy another Jeep next...
