Going to need a new TV for the den.

I am not looking for the absolute best TV & definately not a piece of junk, but one that is an excellent value for the $$$.

I think that LCD's are going to be my choice over plasma's due to being slightly more cost efficient.

Just missed out on a '42 in Aquos on QVC for $1400.

Any particular sites that have some good deals wouldnt hurt either.

Any & all info greatly appreciated.

Hoping to not spend more than $1500-1700.

Sec find a few models you like and i will run it thru a buddy of mine to see what he can do for you. Last guy that did this i could have saved him 600 and then vinny posted the same brand and it was even cheaper.

Ok, Sears has it for 1349.00. Once you go to checkout it will take 150 off the price you see on the original page.

Now you can get an additional 15% off if you're slick.

You have to fill it out but you get an additional 15% off your first purchase. They also have the Vizio 42" 1080P around 1050, which isn't bad for a a 1080p

Personally, I can't really see a difference in the two. I would tell you to go into a Sears and compare but you know those idiots probably don't have the tvs set up correctly.

Read up on them on the avsforums, it's the best place to find out about tvs. It's where all of the electronic geeks get together and compare chit most of us don't care about.
