Panama America tried to contact the responsible parties for the operation but all telephone numbers and contact information did not correspond to rumbasports.com or rumbacasino.com.
Cortizo explained that when these types of companies do not apply or maintain an authorized license, The Gaming Board can not regulate their operations. Nevertheless, no accusations in regards to the 2 operations are filed with the JCJ.
After the scandal with Bet Panam Casino in Panama, which still owes money to various players, the JCJ plans on publishing a list of all websites and companies authorized to accept wagers either on the internet or by telephone.
At the moment, the JCJ only recognizes
Bestline Sports and Legendz Sports as the only betting operations which are authorized to operate legally in Panama. - Raul Cortizo
The government official explained that these two businesses comply with all the requirements and prerequisites in order to properly handle and operate an internet/call center based betting establishment. Legendz Sports and Bestline Sports are presently operating under a contract agreement. Recently all previous licenses granted in the Republic of Panama were not recognized as being legitimate.
Cortizo further states that the most important thing in this situation is that
Bestline Sports and Legendz Sports are presently complying and taking the right steps in order to be legally granted their own permanent license for gaming.
"If a business operation complies with everything which is requested of them by laws of Panama, there should not exist any problem with the operations which they carry out" says Cortizo.
