First off I want to make this clear. Scotty at Bet Jamaica is 1st class. They have a great book. I experienced something not so pleasant and thought you guys should be aware. Their let it ride casino game pays 200-1 for a royal straight flush and 100-1 for a straight flush. ALL land based casino and almost all of the other books that use the same casino software pay 1000-1 for a royal straight flush and 200-1 for a straight flush. BIG DIFFERENCE. I e-mailed Bet Jam in the middle of December addressing this issue. Herman said he checked with other books and it is different. he said they were going to change it and something to the effect of a manual overide or atleast that was the impression I came away with.
A couple of days later I asked that my casino access be revoked because i was losing all my sports winnings. About 4 days later i asked that the casino access be restored. I went on a mini winning streak winning about 3K. One of my hits was a straight flush with $14 bet. I was paid $1,400. That is what their odds say.
I contacted Herman, who I spoke to 2 weeks earlier about an adjustment. he basically said that nothing can be done now, maybe they'll change the odds later. He didn;t follow up on it since I locked my casino access and "No one else complained". The bottom line is this Herman made it seem like they would change the odds and I have nothing to worry about. He changed his tune big time when it happened. I'm the idiot for not getting an e-mail before hand. BetJ is a solid book.
How did I know to check? The only other book that has the same odds is Bestlinesports. I hit a straight flush there and it paid 100-1. I didn;t check the odds before hand. I brought this uo to the attention of Eddie, who I guess is a bigwig there. Anyway, he credited the difference.

I just want to add on that I WOULD refer people to BetJam. They are great. I spoke with Scotty and he explained the situation in more detail. Nothing will change with the payoff. This is a lesson to just get things in writting.

Herman may have made it seem like he was going to change the odds but maybe it was meant that he would try to relay the information to Spiro in the hopes the odds would be changed to satisfy you.

Herman can't change the odds, plain and simple. Spiro is the only one that can make those decisions as Herman works for Spiro.

I'm not trying to be a smart-ass but you admitted that you knew what the odds were before you played. Why not play somewhere else that has more favorable odds for you in the game of your choice?

Have a Happy New Year.

Jack,
I thought you were here to help? Just kidding!

You are correct in saying I knew the odds before hand. I can't lay blame on anyone. Whether I misread Herman's initial intentions, thought I heard something I wanted to hear, or was told it would be changed doesn't matter now. I really think it was miscommunication and also it didn't help when I asked that the casino access be revoked. From my understanding, that is when Herman thought it was a dead issue. Maybe I expected them to honor it like Bestlinesports did. I guess I was fortunate when Bestlinesports fixed it.
I have no hard feelings and probably shouldn't have to begin with since I knew what I was getting into. Overall I made some money so I can't complain. This WASN"T a rant to bash Bet Jamaica, contrary to what the title of my post may reflect. They have been the best book I've ever used.

I would post this across the street at a few places if I were you. Do you have his answer in writing?
