betED.com is giving bettors a chance to make some money off endurance artist David Blaine?s latest stunt ? whether he?s successful or not.

Blaine will try to break the underwater breath-holding Guinness World Record live on the Oprah Winfrey Show on Wednesday afternoon.

betED.com?s Prop Bet offers -280 moneyline odds that Blaine?s record-breaking attempt will be unsuccessful, and +160 that he?ll pull it off.

Blaine has reportedly been training for months, and paramedics will be on hand at Oprah?s studio should anything go wrong.

He will run the risk of heart failure, brain damage and even death as he tries to hold his breath for more than 16 minutes and 14 seconds ? the record currently held by Tom Sietas. Blaine will be submerged in a sphere-shaped aquarium filled with more than 2,500 gallons of water.

In his most recent endurance act, Blaine lived continuously underwater for seven and a half days, longer than any other human being. At the end of his submersion, he attempted to hold his breath for the world record, falling just short of his goal.

He refers to this upcoming breath-holding challenge on Oprah as a personal rematch in achieving his childhood dream.

Past stunts have seen Blaine frozen in a block of ice for 63 hours, fasting for 44 days in a box suspended over the Thames River, and buried alive in a coffin for a week.

The Oprah Winfrey Show: David Blaine Risks His Life to Break a World Record takes place live Wednesday. Check local TV listings for start times.
