NASCAR returns Sunday Aug. 6th!
Racing's hot shot Michael Schumacher won the German Grand Prix on Sunday, his third straight Formula One race.
But for car racing fan's eager to see their favorite drivers behind the wheel again, NASCAR's back on track next weekend with the Allstate 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Jeff Gordon (6/1), Jimmie Johnson (8/1), Tony Stewart (13/2), and Kasey Kahne (9/1) are your usual suspects (i.e. favorites to win).
Bodog Sportsbook NASCAR odds to win Allstate 400
NASCAR winced one year ago when two of the its biggest names -- four-time champion Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. -- failed to make the cut for the Nextel Cup Series' Chase for the Championship.
Believe it or not, that same kind of scenario could play itself out this season with six races left for drivers to climb into the top 10 in the Nextel Cup points standings and into the 10-race Chase playoff format.
Earnhardt is currently 11th in the points standings, 15 points out of the top 10. Gordon and defending series champion Tony Stewart are also on shaky ground, at ninth and 10th in points, respectively.
If that doesn?t give you enough to go on, then we don?t know what will. Get all your NASCAR betting lines and NASCAR racing odds at the Bodog Sportsbook.
