The 2008 NHL Playoffs are getting into the meat of the first round and betED.com is serving up daily odds for all the action.

A total of 13 games are on tap this week ? five Tuesday, three Wednesday and another five Thursday ? and some teams are already facing an early exit from the postseason.

The Boston Bruins will try to even up their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series with the Montreal Canadiens at two games apiece when the Original Six rivals clash in Beantown Tuesday night. The Canadiens are a -125 favorite at betED.com.

And Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals play pivotal Game 3 of their East quarterfinal Tuesday as the best-of-seven series shifts to Philadelphia tied 1-1 (7:05 pm ET, VERSUS). The Flyers are a -130 favorite Tuesday.

The defending Stanley Cup Champion Anaheim Ducks will try to avoid the embarrassment of going down 3-0 to the Dallas Stars when the teams face off in Dallas Tuesday. The Stars are a -135 favorite.

And the Colorado Avalanche will try to rebound from Monday?s overtime loss to the Minnesota Wild when the teams play for the second time in 24 hours Tuesday night in Denver (10:05 pm ET, VERSUS). The Avalanche are a -170 favorite.

On Wednesday, the New Jersey Devils will try to even their series with the arch-rival New York Rangers (7:05 pm ET, VERSUS). The Rangers lead 2-1.

Also Wednesday, the Ottawa Senators, who won the Eastern Conference championship last season and took on the Ducks in the Stanley Cup Final, are down 3-0 and face elimination in Game 4 of their first-round series with Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins.

And on Thursday, The Capitals and Flyers hook up for Game 4 before the series moves back to Washington (7:05 pm ET, VERSUS).
