Bet the 2009 NFL Draft at betED.com

The 2009 NFL Draft takes places this weekend and betED.com has some great props for football bettors.

All of the NFL Draft Bets at betED.com involve over/unders, like whether the number of wide receivers and tight ends taken in round one of the draft will be Over 6 (-155) or under 6 (+115).

There?s also a wager on whether the number of offensive lineman taken in the first round will be Over 6.5 (+100) or Under 6.5 (-140).

The over/under for the number of quarterbacks taken in round one is 2.5 (Over, 350; Under +250). The total for the number of running backs taken in the opening round is also 2.5 (Over +100; Under -140).

Check out betED.com for a full list of NFL Draft betting odds.

The Detroit Lions, who went winless last season, will have the first pick on Saturday. On Wednesday, the team announced it is negotiating a deal with quarterback Matthew Stafford, who is expected to go first overall.

Stafford led the Georgia Bulldogs to 24-12 win over the Michigan State Spartans in the Capital One Bowl this past season. He threw for 250 yards and three touchdowns and was named game MVP.

The St. Louis Rams are expected to take one of the two top tackles available with the second pick, either Baylor?s Jason Smith or Virginia?s Eugene Monroe.

The Kansas City Chiefs hold the third overall pick, and are expected to draft Aaron Curry, a linebacker out of Wake Forest.

The Seattle Seahawks and Cleveland Browns have draft picks four and five, respectively.

The 2009 NFL Draft will be held Saturday and Sunday at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Teams select college players in seven rounds, spread out over two days. Draft position is determined by reverse order of finish.

The draft will be broadcast on the NFL Network.
