Bet the 2010 Miss USA Pageant at betED.com

The Miss USA Pageant, not to be confused with the Miss America Pageant, takes place this weekend and betED.com has betting odds for all 51 contestants.

Miss California, Nicole Johnson, is the favorite to win the Miss USA title at +400 in entertainment betting at betED.com.

Johnson, 24, of Ventura County, beat out 133 contestants at the Miss California Pageant last November.

Next are Miss Nebraska and Miss Oklahoma, both at +800, and Miss Michigan and Miss Tennessee, who are both at +1000.

The 2010 Miss USA Pageant is slated for the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on Sunday (7 pm ET, NBC). The contestants represent all 50 states and the District of Columbia, with the winner becoming the U.S. entry into the Miss Universe Pageant.

The show will be hosted by celebrity chef Curtis Stone, who is currently competing on Donald Trump?s Celebrity Apprentice, and Today Show correspondent Natalie Morales. Musical acts include Boys Like Girls and Trace Adkins.

The Miss Universe Organization, owned by Trump and NBC, operates the Miss USA Pageant, the Miss Universe Pageant and the Miss Teen USA Pageant.

The 2009 title was won by Kristen Dalton of North Carolina, who wound up with a Top-10 finish at the Miss Universe Pageant.

The Miss USA pageant was conceived in 1950 when the winner of the rival Miss America Pageant refused to pose in a swimsuit for publicity pictures, prompting pageant sponsor Catalina to pull its sponsorship and start a separate competition.
