Can someone explain BetAGame?s rollover rules, as I?m trying to understand. Let?s say I make a cash deposit of $200. They add 50% or $100 to my account as a bonus. They require 5x rollover wagering on the bonus and the deposit. This means I would have to wager $1500 before I could request a withdrawal. How does this make any sense? I can understand a rollover rule on the bonus amount but not on the original deposit. What am I missing here? Thanks in advance.

They all do that. Some are really ridiculous. This book makes you rollover 10 times on a 25% bonus AND they only count 50% of your baseball bets towards the rollover.

if you deposit $1000 and your fees are $15, BetOnline will credit your account the full $1015 + $250 Free Play Deposit Bonus. So, if you have a ten-time rollover assigned for that deposit bonus, you must roll the entire amount (e.g. $1015 + free play) ten times. Thus, to receive a payout without forfeiting anything you won from your bonus, you must first cover the rollover amount (e.g. $1015 + Free Play times ten).

I never used to take a bonus but now I think it's crazy not to. It's free money. There are times when I might want to make a large wager but not have the money tied up so I'll deposit without a bonus.

I usually deposit $1000 and take the $1000 free play. I wait for a solid bet and bet the whole free play on one game. Hopefully I hit it. My average bet size is about $500 so it takes me 2 to 3 weeks to hit the $20,000 rollover.

and on top of that at betagame .......

"For rollover determinations, the lesser amount between the risk and the win on each eligible wager is the one that is measured."

"Wagers that result in a termination due to postponed events or the wager resulting in a push or no action do not count towards the rollover."

Also....at various "Offshore Sportsbooks" pay attention to the odds, for example if odds are say -200, it won't count towards the rollover requirement.

My two cents......

I have said it on here before and I say it again, the "bonuses with a rollover" at "Offshore Sportsbooks" are not worth it. It is just a way for those Sportsbooks to lock you in (and most of the time you are screwed).

I only take bonuses if they are one or two times rollover and odds don't matter. You can find those here in Canada and at many Sportsbooks in Europe. But you won't find that "Offshore".

Simple rule for me.......don't take bonuses.

And as Jack mentioned above some are completely ridiculous and you could simply classify them as a scam.

My suggestion to walleyek, just ask for a small Freeplay (no rollover on the Freeplay) on your deposit, if they say yes, great, if they say no, fine. Don't bother with any of that bonus shit.

On the other side, but good luck with your play:moon:

I'm going to roll it over in 3 weeks anyway. Why not take the free money? If I didn't take the bonus I'm not pulling out in 3 weeks either. To each his own.

Well we totally disagree with that "free money" thing, but yes to each their own:SIB

Note: hammer1 completes his rollover requirements within 6 seconds of his deposit and he does it with only wagering one dollar:shade:

If I'm going to deposit $1000 and I'm definitely not pulling out in a month or even 2 months, why not take the bonus? Makes no sense not to. You can't give me one reason that makes sense why I shouldn't take the bonus under my betting habits.

- If not taking out money in 2 months.

- If wagering on all events that meet odds requirements.

Then I can see why you'd take it.

There ya happy?:mj04:

If you're a degenerate, then DEFINITELY take the bonus.
I usually hit the 5x rollover within a week.

For example:
I deposited $1500 Friday with 25% bonus. It came with a 5x rollover requirement. $1500 + $375 bonus = $1875. Rollover requirement is $9375 in wagers. I placed $4202 in wagers between Friday & Saturday. Only $5173 left to go. My current balance is $1300, so I'm down $200 at the moment (or down $575 but $375 was free money). I can easily bet $3000 worth on Sunday NFL. If I lose it all before I can cycle through $5173, then I was gonna lose that regardless. My point is ... yes, I'm a degenerate.
