With Christmas just around the corner, all of us at BetCRIS.com are wishing that we can get some decent 'Teaser' results for the last few weeks of the NFL season. Its been terrific for teaser players this year, and with recent years being good for bookmakers, a year like this year was bound to happen. Accompanying teasers this week were general parlay bettors in NFL having a decent week aswell. Every favorite won on Sunday except Pittsburgh who lost to Cincinnati and the other game was Denver vs Kansas City which was at odds of take your pick. When results like that happen as a Bookmaker you can expect alot of payouts!
College football was again good for us with almost all betting options returning a profit for us. We now have a week off from College football with Bowl games starting next week so we will surely miss the recent results.

NBA was a struggle, but we came up with a small profit this week but College basketball was much better for us returning nice results. Hockey bettors enjoyed a good result at our expense with the NHL.

Best games for the public...
Florida International caused an upset win over Middle Tennessee State but the public always fancied them. Middle Tennessee State opened a large 8 point favorite but had little betting support and closed down 4 points to settle at only a 4 point favorite. Florida International edged them out 35-31 and all bettors were happy.
Tulsa and Central Florida opened up at odds of take your pick, but it wasn't long until we closed Tulsa a 3 point favorite and they didn't disappoint winning 44-27.
As I wrote above, most of the NFL games on Sunday were good for the public with most favorites winning and 11 favorites covering the spread, one take your pick game and only 3 dogs winning by the spread. The take your pick game was also good for the public with Denver opening with a spread of 1.5 points. Kansas City attracted the public bettors support though pushing the line down to take your pick.

Best games for the house...
Fridays College game was good for us with Fresno State losing 40-28 against Louisiana Tech considering Fresno State was a huge 24 point favorite!
Florida State's 27-22 upset win over Virginia Tech left many a bettor unhappy. Virginia Tech closed a 14 point favorite and tried desperately to recover in the 4th quarter by scoring 19-0, but still couldn't get there. Whenever big favorites lose straight up like that, it normally spells disaster for bettors.
Without Teaser and parlay bettors this week NFL would have been ok with plenty of action both ways on all games. Many of the public thought Atlanta would either win or stay within the 3 points which Carolina were favored by so for us the 24-6 win by Carolina was a great result but for all the Teaser bettors.
We had alot of winning players, and many big wins this week but one player in particular did extremely well. He played all week firstly starting with NBA and consistently betting teams he liked to win atleast $20,000 even at higher numbers after his first bet. Coming into Sunday he was up alot of money already and played Washington -3 points over St Louis to win $50,000. They were winning 10-7 at halftime and he called us again and decided to 'plonk' some more cash on them at -1/2 point and then -1 point to win the second half for another $20,000. Luckily for us he liked Oakland in the night game and gave us some of our money back, but he still enjoyed a winning week well over $140,000! I guess hell be having a very 'Jolly' Xmas this year especially if he continues to pick winners like he has so far.

Until next week,
Regards Shane Catford
