betED.com pulls out the prop bets for 75th Masters

The 75th Masters Tournament opens Thursday at the famed Augusta National Golf Club, and for the first time since he began participating in the prestigious event, Tiger Woods is not favored to win.

That honor belongs to Tiger?s archrival, Phil Mickelson, who is at +600 in Golf Odds at betED.com to repeat as Masters champion.

Woods, who slipped to 7th in the World Golf Rankings this week, is next at +1000. Lee Westwood rounds out the top three at +1400.

Mickelson has won at Augusta three times, while Woods has worn the green jacket four times.

betED.com has dozens of prop bets available in Masters Betting Odds, including whether there will be a playoff to decide the winner ? Yes, +260; No, -340.

Ninety-nine players will be taking part in The Masters, the first major tournament of the season.

Mickelson is coming off a victory at the Houston Open, which he won by three shots on Sunday. At last year?s Masters, Mickelson, who moved up to No. 3 in the world with his win at Houston, shot three 67s and beat Westwood by three shots.

Westwood is proving to be one of the most consistent golfers on the PGA Tour, especially at majors. He has five top-three finishes in the last nine major championships.

World No. 1 Martin Kaymer, who is at +2000 to win The Masters, will be hoping to just make the cut at Augusta. Kaymer has yet to make it to the weekend in three tries.

Woods, who hasn?t won a tournament since 2009, finished fourth at last year's Masters, his first event of the season.

ESPN will broadcast the tournament on Thursday and Friday. CBS takes over on Saturday and Sunday.
