The New York Giants visit the Washington Redskins in a battle of NFC East division rivals Sunday.

New York beat the Arizona Cardinals 37-29 as a 3-point favorite last week. The score went over the total of 48.5. Eli Manning passed for 240 yards with three touchdown passes for New York and Derrick Ward rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries.

The Dallas Stars will try again for back-to-back victories for the first time this year when they host the San Jose Sharks in NHL play Friday night.

Dallas stopped a three-game losing skid on Wednesday with a 4-3 win over the Wild in Minnesota. But the Stars have lost their last three at home (0-2-1) and are 2-3-3 as the host club this season.

The Sharks are coming off a 3-2 overtime win Against the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday. Joe Thornton scored the game-winner 45 seconds into overtime, as the Sharks extended their winning streak over Chicago to 13 straight games.

The teams split four regular-season meetings last year, but the Stars eliminated the Sharks in six games in last year's Western Conference semifinals. San Jose won 2-1 the last time the teams met on Nov. 8.
