The hype machine is slowing down and it?s almost time for the real action to begin on Super Sunday. The favored Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa Bay, in what is the biggest sports event of the year and one of the most viewed TV events around the world. The Pittsburgh Steelers are favored by a touchdown when they face the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa Bay on Sunday.

The teams last squared off last season, when the Cardinals won 21-14 as 5.5-home dogs on Sept. 30, 2007. Pittsburgh is 2-1 SU and ATS in the past three meetings.

In the AFC Championship on Sunday, the Steelers (12-4 SU, 9-7 ATS) defeated division-rival Baltimore Ravens 23-14 as a 6-point home favorite. The score went over the over/under total of 35.5.

Pittsburgh QB Ben Roethlisberger passed for 255 yards, including a 65-yard touchdown strike to Santonio Holmes, while Troy Polamalu ran back an interception 40 yards for a touchdown.

The Cardinals (9-7 SU, 9-7 ATS) upset the Philadelphia Eagles 32-25 as a 3.5-point home underdog in the NFC title game. The score went over the total of 47.

Cardinals? pivot Kurt Warner passed for 279 yards and four touchdowns. WR Larry Fitzgerald caught nine passes of those passes for 152 yards with three touchdowns in the win.

The NBA-leading Boston Celtics look for their 10th-straight win when they visit the Detroit Pistons on Friday at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

The Celtics won their ninth straight by defeating the Kings 119-100 on Wednesday. The Celtics covered the 17-point spread.

Detroit snapped a two-game slide with a 98-89 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday, covering the 1-point spread on the road.

The total has gone under in all five of the past five meetings in Detroit, and in five of the past six meetings overall.

McGee reeled in a 37-yard pass from Bart Starr in the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Chiefs' Curtis McClinton took in the second touchdown of the game, receiving a seven-yard toss from Len Dawson. Jim Taylor of the Packers led all rushers, running for 56 yards in the game. The Packers would also go on to win Super Bowl II against Oakland, 33-14.
