Tampa Bay is 1-1 Against the Spread over its two games this pre-season while Jacksonville is 1-1 ATS. The Bucs are at 0-2 on over/under while the Jaguars are 1-1.

FRIDAY
NEW YORK YANKEES (75-49) AT LOS ANGELES ANGELS OF ANAHEIM (67-59)
10:05 pm ET XM 182
This has all the potential in the world to be a first-class series. The Yankees are riding high atop the AL East and seem pretty safe with the Boston red Sox floundering of late. But the Angels have a lot riding on this series. They?re only four games back of Al West leading Oakland and have won five straight going into action this week. Both New York and Los Angeles have identical 7-3 records over their past 10.
On the mound, The Yankees will have Jaret Wright (RHP, 9-7, 4.63). Wright broke two streaks recently when he snapped a win streak with a loss to the Orioles, and allowed a leadoff home run to Brian Roberts, which snapped his 10-game streak of not giving up a homer, the longest such streak of his career. The Angels counter with John Lackey (RHP, 10-9, 3.52) who can't seem to find his way out of the doldrums he's encountered in August. After a 5-1 record in July earned him the American League Pitcher of the Month, the right-hander has yet to win.
betED Line: Angels -122 (+105) Total: 9.5
FRIDAY
DETROIT TIGERS (81-45) AT CLEVELAND INDIANS (56-68)
7:05 pm ET XM 176
This AL Central match-up may sound like a mismatch and may end up that way, but the Indians have been winning more games than they?ve been losing lately, and in fact have a better record than Detroit over the past 10. Meanwhile, Division-leading Detroit can?t seem to shake those pesky, second-place Chicago White Sox, who still have lots of life at 7.5 games back.
On the mound, Detroit will have Jeremy Bonderman (RHP, 11-5, 3.86), who just didn't have it in his last start, against the Texas Rangers on Aug. 20. He never felt good on the mound and blew a 6-0 lead that the Tigers staked him to in the second inning. He didn't get out of the fifth inning as he allowed six runs, five earned, and 11 hits in 4 2/3 innings. Cleveland counters with Jeremy Sowers (LHP, 5-3, 3.48), whose last outing against the Devil Rays did not get off to the best of starts, as he gave up two runs in the first. But those were the only runs he allowed in six innings.
betED Line: Tigers -120 (+100) Total: 9
HOT PROPS:
The 58th Annual Emmy Awards are on Sunday, giving you a chance to make some very rare bets indeed. For example, who?s it gonna be for Best Drama Series, The Sopranos or 24? Ask yourself this: Do you really want to bet against Tony Soprano? And what about best actor? The Emmys had the nerve to snub Tony (they?ll be getting a visit from Paulie about that), but 24?s Jack Bauer (Keifer Sutherland) will be in tough against Rescue Me?s Denis Leary. Pick your favorite show or actor and then sit back and watch the winners give their (hopefully brief) acceptance speeches.
