BOWL CONTEST FORMAT
This is a Pick 15 contest sponsored by BetFirstClass.com and hosted at OfficeFootballPool.com. The scoring will be based on the number of Bowl games that each contestant correctly selects against the lines posted. All selections will be weighted equally.
CONTEST SCHEDULE
This Bowl contest sponsored by BetFirstClass.com will require that each contestant select 15 of the remaining 25 Bowl games beginning with the Champs Sports Bowl, through the BCS Championship game on January 8th. The contest lines, pick selections and scoring will be managed through the contest website which utilizes automated record keeping with a nice user interface. All picks must be made prior to 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 27th at which time the contest website will be locked.
ENTRY FEE
There is no deposit required to enter this contest but the winners will be required to deposit an amount at least equal to their winnings in order to claim their prizes. Please disregard any messages you may see on the contest website regarding entry fees as the cost of using this software for the contest is being absorbed by BetFirstClass.
However, each contestant is required to register an account at BetFirstClass.com PRIOR to entering the contest. To confirm compliance with this requirement, contestants must email Judge@BetFirstClass.com with their BetFirstClass account number. Please specify in the email that you are from MadJacks. Upon receipt of each confirmation email, The Judge will respond with a link to the contest website along with log-in and password information. This will ensure that only registered BetFirstClass account holders will be able to participate in the contest. The sign-up page on the BetFirstClass website can be accessed by clicking HERE and be sure to select ?MadJackSports? under the ?Referred By? tab when registering your new account.
When registering for the contest at OfficeFootballPool.com, please enter the exact same name as your MadJack handle if it is available. This will allow everyone to track the progress of the leaders throughout the contest. It is not necessary to enter your ?real name? when registering but please be sure to enter the same email address that you entered when you registered at BetFirstClass.
POINTSPREADS
The contest picks and the win/loss records are ?Against the Spread?. The teams that the contestants pick must cover the spread for the lines posted in order to be credited with a ?Win?.
CONFIRMING PICKS
It will be the responsibility of each contestant to confirm that their picks are accepted by the website. This can be done in a number of ways including the pick confirmation email and by returning to the pick sheet to see that correct selections are bolded. The picks shown on the website after the entry deadline has passed will be used for each contestant?s FINAL picks.
SCORING & TIEBREAKERS
The scoring for this contest will be based on ?Wins?. The contestant with the most winning selections ?Against the Spread?, will be declared the winner and will be awarded the 1st Place prize with the next two top finishers claiming the 2nd and 3rd Place prizes. All contest prize money will be deposited into the winners? BetFirstClass wagering accounts and those funds will be required to be ?rolled over? a minimum of six times before they are available for withdrawal.
If there is a tie after ?Wins?, the first tiebreaker will be the ?BCS Champ Pick?. A correct ?Against the Spread? pick on the BCS Championship game wins this tiebreaker.
If there is a tie after the ?BCS Champ Pick?, the next tiebreaker will be ?BCS Champ Points?. The person who most closely picks the total combined points scored by Oklahoma and Florida in the BCS Championship game will be declared the winner of this tiebreaker. Going over or under the total score does not matter.
If there is still a tie after ?BCS Champ Points?, the next tiebreaker will be a ?Coin Toss?. The tied contestant who entered the contest first will be determined by The Judge and will then send an email to MadJack in which they will ?call? either ?Heads? or ?Tails?. Once the email has been confirmed to have been received by Jack, The Judge will then flip a coin and post the result of the flip. At that time, Jack will post a copy of the ?call? email. If the contestant who ?called? the flip is correct, he (or she) will be declared the winner. If the ?call? was incorrect, the other contestant will win the tiebreaker.
PRIZES
1st Place: $400
2nd Place: $300
3rd Place: $200
4th Place: $100
NOTE: All contestants who deposit a minimum of $500 into their BetFirstClass accounts PRIOR to the deadline for entering the contest picks, will have any contest winnings DOUBLED in lieu of a 30% sign-up bonus for new customers or a 20% reload bonus for existing customers. For example, that would mean that if a player deposits $500 between now and the deadline, they would qualify for the following contest prizes:
1st Place: $800 (equal to a 160% Bonus)
2nd Place: $600 (equal to a 120% Bonus)
3rd Place: $400 (equal to a 80% Bonus)
4th Place: $200 (equal to a 40% Bonus)
All contestants that place out of the contest money will still be credited with the our standard 30% bonus for new customers and 20% for account reloads, provided the player?s account qualifies. In order to accurately track the appropriate bonus amount for the contest participants, the bonuses for these deposits will not be credited to accounts until after the conclusion of the contest.
Again, it is not required to make a deposit to enter this contest but those that make a $500 deposit prior to 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 27th, will have any contest winnings DOUBLED in lieu of a deposit bonus.
