To customers of:
BETGAMEDAY
As you know, last weekend our website was attacked with a Denial of Service attack - we believe by a group of extortionists who have also attacked several other web sites recently. Due to this unfortunate event, our website was not accessible for much of Friday and Saturday. While our call center is always fully staffed to accept your bets, we are aware that you may have experienced some inconvenience. For that, we are truly sorry, and would like to thank you for your patience during this time.
1/2 JUICE ON ALL FOOTBALL - To show our appreciation for your loyalty, we are excited to announce that we will be offering 1/2 Juice football wagering all weekend long! That's right, all NFL and NCAA - sides and totals included - will be offered at -105! That means you bet only $105 to win $100!
We would like you to know that we will never pay any extortion demands - I firmly believe that this sort of crime must never be rewarded. As a result of that, we may experience more attacks this weekend. Our technical staff along with our ISP will be monitoring our systems around the clock, and will assure that our systems are available to you as much as possible in the event of a further attack. We are also working closely with the UK High Tech Crimes Unit, who already have a significant file on this incident, and are optimistic that the criminals will be unearthed sooner rather than later.
In the event that you cannot access the website, we continue to accept telephone wagering as normal at 1-800-Fun-Bets (386-2387). Naturally our phone lines will be very busy, and we ask for your patience - we do operate a sophisticated queuing system, and your call will be answered in the order received, so please do not hang up and redial - or you will lose your place in the queue.
Once again, everyone at BetGameDay truly appreciates your understanding. We will beat this, and we will continue to offer you the highest level of service in our industry.
Enjoy the 1/2 Juice this weekend!
Thanks from everyone here,
