I think it begins and ends with coaching. The team seems lost on O, and the penalties are a true sign of a lack of discipline. Players leaving the program and bad coaching decisions are ridiculous. They may be ranked as top 10, but they won?t be soon as I see them losing at least 3 more games. The players see it and the coaches have lost this team on Offense. Jacobs did his final dagger to the program by extending The HC?s contract. Stidham is an average QB in a spread offense. I will be fading them most of the games remaining. JMO
I'd be careful doing that... have you seen the SEC this year?
I think it's an OL problem. I think everyone was blindly hoping we could just piece together a brand new OL and throw them out there and not skip a beat on the run game. We haven't gotten a push up the middle all year. Pass protection has been pretty bad too. Yesterday our OL took a few hits and our offense was just hamstrung in the 2H. Hopefully not major injuries or we could be in serious trouble... if the guys that went out yesterday are okay, I think our defense is good enough to win every game through A&M.
MSU is a really bad team with one player
Vols and OMiss are at program lows
A&M looked really bad yesterday, and I think the Clemson comeback is losing it's splendor since Clemson looks kinda rough
I don't think we'll be favored by more then DDs in MSU/A&M and probably 10-14 in the other two... I'll probably be just looking at Team Total Unders for our opponents.
We'll get beat by 35 in Tuscaloosa and 21 in Athens if we don't see some serious improvement. D can only do so much to keep these games close without a little help. Reminds me of watching the 2016 team that couldn't ever get it together on offense.
