Good catch man. Bass are so fun to catch. I?ve had them bite the lure as it?s being cast and put up a good fight on the way in. I typically release them.

Always release them as I don't eat fish at all and fish a lot of tournaments. Big fish make big babies.

Caught this today. Had 5 (limit) for 22 lbs and came in second. Damnit.

I've fished the big bass splash once on fork. I used to have a fifth wheel at Hurley's in little Caney for a few years and would go about every other weekend or so. It's still an awesome fishery and I fished bass champs on it last year with a buddy. I usually fish at night there during the summer. Hard to see but I like the big bite it usually provides.
