It's been a crazy week already for the ACC as the Miami Hurricanes have announced their arrival. Their matchup with Georgia Tech on Thursday night was supposed to be like the Mayweather Marquez betting odds: a close bout. Instead, it turned out to be completely one-sided as the Hurricanes blew the Yellow Jackets outs. As the Hurricanes climb the ranks in the ACC, let's take a look at what everyone else is up to in the conference this week including some college football betting picks:

Florida State Seminoles @ BYU Cougars

The BYU Cougars are flying high after their win over Oklahoma in the opener and then their thrashing of Tulane to follow it up. After two road games, they are now back at home for their home opener and the crowd in Provo will be fired up with the Florida State Seminoles in town.

BYU has a BCS Championship on their mind after beating Oklahoma but they should temper expectations. They barely scraped by Oklahoma and that was only after quarterback Sam Bradford got hurt. Nobody would have expected them to win had he stayed healthy.

The Seminoles come into this game stumbling but they are the better overall team. If they can control Dennis Pitta and get their own ground game going, they are going to win this game and ruin BYU's season.

Nebraska Cornhuskers @ Virginia Tech Hokies

The Nebraska Cornhuskers have had a good start to the season, going 2-0 against a couple of cupcake teams but their schedule is about to pick up. Before they get into Big 12 action, they have to travel to Blacksburg and face a very good Virginia Tech team.

The Hokies are looking for redemption after getting crushed by Alabama in the opener and they should get it here. The Cornhuskers are still a developing team and they probably aren't good enough to go on the road and topple a Top 25 team.

The Huskers crushed Arkansas State last week but one thing lost in the win was the amount of rushing yards they gave up to the Ragin' Cajuns. Against Va Tech, who has two dangerous freshman backs and a mobile quarterback in Tyrod Taylor, they should be able to run wild.

The Hokies also have the better defense and the better special teams, which is why they will roll on Saturday.
