Jacksonville Jaguars @ Houston Texans

The Jacksonville Jaguars have been one of the league's enigma over the last year or so and they better start winning games or they'll turn from an enigma, to a bust.
The Jags were 5-11 last year and did little to address their weak passing game or their failing defense in the offseason. Now they are 0-2 to start the season and if they can't find a way to win this weekend, they are going to be in a lot of trouble for the rest of the year. Head coach Jack Del Rio is clearly feeling the heat.
Meanwhile, the Houston Texans made a statement last week in Tennessee last week with their 34-31 win. They made it clear that they aren't going to be the soft sleeper that fails to meet expectations this year.
Last week, the Titans got nearly 300 yards of production out of Chris Johnson and the Texans still managed to win on the road. Now that they are back at home, they'll probably do a better job of coralling the Jaguars running game and minimizing the impact of Maurice Jones-Drew. If the Texans offense plays as good as they did last week, they should easily move to 2-1 and push the Jaguars to 0-3.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles are a nine-point favorite against the Kansas City Chiefs and a lot of people might be thinking that that's a lot of points to give up considering Donovan McNabb is not going to play and DeSean Jackson and Brian Westbrook might be very limited.
Even so, there is plenty of reason to like the Eagles.
Thsi is a tough spot for the Chiefs because their passing game is really hurting right now. Matt Cassel struggled against a weak Oakland Raiders team last week, which does not bode well for his matchup against a stout Eagles secondary this week. The Eagles were embarassed at home last week, mostly because of a poor defensive effort and turnovers, so look for them to clean up their game and play a much smarter brand of football.
The Chiefs aren't capable of winning this game unless the Eagles make mistakes. That won't happen as the Eagles roll in this contest.
