Every Saturday college football just owns me. My question is... Is betting on cfb smart/worthwhile ? I'm not going to go into specific games (tcu ml @ bay, nd ml @ fst, kty 2nd h ml today) but Most games have a lot in common. I don't believe in fixes, there are probably 1-2 a year but in weak conferences/games, not on national tv.

The things working against (or sometimes for?)

1. Biased calls. Not aimed for spreads but for a team. Every game the refs have the power to call it loose or tight. Same exact play one week can be called interference, the next week it's not called

2. Crazy stupid shit. The athletes are not as good as the pros obviously and it shows. You can handicap a game all you want but when an onside kick is returned for a td or a team has 6 fumbles there is no handicapping that.

Obviously the option is not to bet. I just see too many variables in the college game. Unless you're extremely lucky I don't see how anyone can win week in and week out.

I've been doing this for about 20yrs.
I've made $ I've lost $

I play low key games and bad conferences like the sun belt , Mac , AAC , etc.
I find it easier to cap these games and exploit a favorable line.

Don't play road favs
Always play rushing dogs , especially at home .
And limit each play.

u get screwed by the refs or turnovers....that's the game. You can get a feeling for a team that's playing good ball. Lay it or take it. whatever happens beyond that is out of your control.

Best of luck

At this point Id stop wagering for a bit and analyze other systems or ways to bet games. Keep capping the games like you would be putting money on them, but don't actually do it!! Keep track of how ur doing and when you start to see consistent winning with something then start to really wager again. Betting sports is like riding waves.....gl
