BETTING AFTER THE ALLSTAR BREAK
Having the only 3 days off a year the all star break is kind of like my Christmas holiday
Which even then I am sure guys are posting who will win the blue ?gray game.
Last night I actually saw people posting there picks in the home run derby,and a lot of
Guys made serious wagers on the sosa?s bonds, thomes?s. now tonight the all star game
Guys will look at the line up and the pitchers and try and draw a conclusion on who to bet on when its simply a guess. There is no edge no steam no sharp money just a guess
You can make a reason for picking all four sides teams or totals and no one can say
Your wrong. But its all just a guess
In the 2nd half of the all star break in the last 20 years the same patterns develop.
One team that we don?t expect will have unusually great 2nd half, a playoff contender
Will fall apart and two of your better teams will start to runaway from the pack.
My suggestions to all the players betting the remainder of the baseball season.
Remember it?s a numbers game based on the law of averages. Don?t do your capping
Based on the 1st half or the last 2 years. Look for the teams that open up fast winning
There first 3 games and coat tail a possible streak and fade the teams that lose the 1st 3
And hope for them to string a 7 or more game losing streak.
Regardless what people think or want to believe the fact is the new york Yankees
Will represent the American league in the world series as they just have to much talent
And they will solidify that buy adding another top notch pitcher. Can you imagine where they would be if Kevin brown was healthy or mike mussina was pitching like the moose of old.
In the national league with the st louis cardinals having there lead it would be real hard
To catch them as there dominance at home will prevent them from going on a major losing streak. With the rest of the national league tightly bunched with mediocrity
The other contenders will just beat each other up and give the cards the free pass to
Meet the Yankees.
