British Columbia Lions (1-3) at Hamilton Tiger Cats (2-2)
Friday, 7:30 pm Eastern ? TSN
SBG Global Opening Line: Lions - 2, Total 51
The British Columbia Lions will try and get things turned around as they travel to Hamilton to face the Tiger Cats on Friday night. The Lions have really struggled to start the season, going 1-3 including a disaster last week at home when they were blown out 48-10 by Calgary.
SBG Global reports that early CFL Betting has the public taking the Lions on the Road.
"I've gone through this a million times. This isn't the first time we've been 1-3. It's not been often, but I guess that's the saving grace of all of this: Teams that I direct haven't been this way.? B.C. head coach Wally Buono said, ?But it's not a big deal. Do you think life's going to be good to you all the time?"
Buono has definitely heard enough of the excuses for his team?s poor start. "I get tired of hearing all the bull ? about the guys who have left. Half those guys are struggling with other teams. Some of them are getting cut. That's not the issue. The issue is that the guys we have here that we're counting on haven't lived up to the expectations," Buono said.
Hamilton has a chance to sweep the season series against British Columbia since they won 31-28 back in Week 2. The last time the Tiger Cats swept the season series against the Lions was back in 1992. "We never talked this week about sweeping B.C. or anybody else. We didn't talk a lot about them except how we have to attack their tendencies," British Columbia head coach Marcel Bellefeuille said.
Here are the CFL Betting stats for Friday?s game. The Lions are 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight games overall. The Lions are 1-5 ATS in their last six Friday games.
SBG Global Current Line: Lions - 2, Total 51
The Tiger-Cats are 4-1 ATS in their last five games in July. The Tiger-Cats are 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 Friday games. The Tiger-Cats are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 home games.
The Under is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings between the two teams and the Under is 4-1 in the last five meetings in Hamilton.
