Anyone else receive their BetUS Kentucky Derby magazine in the mail? It's packed full of horse racing information. On page 6 there is an article on offshore vs. the track betting. Basically the article slams betting at the track since there are unfair taxes if you win big, inflated food prices, parking. Also since they don't put your wager in the mutual pool it's beneficial to you since it won't drive the prices down. After reading this an unexperienced bettor may think it's easier to bet through books like this. What BetUS doesn;t mention is their track limit payouts, "Quinellas 50-1
Doubles & Exactas 100-1
pick 3's 150-1
Trifectas & Exotics 200-1." This is posted on their website, not in the magazine. It's really funny since you have to pay taxes when you win a bet over 600-1 at the track. The max these people pay is 200-1. Someone else had to notice this. I guess they make money through deceit and that's OK. When they released their NFL football magazine last year even one of the New York Post writers hammered them as being low. According The Post the magazine's Q&A was all made up stuff. One of them was someone claiming to be a college student who bets with a campus bookie. He didn't like the hassle and wanted to know if opening an offshore account with BetUS would be better. If this stuff was real you would think that BetUS would have filed a lawsuit. Possibly someone from BetUS would like to respond to this.
