Since you are here let me ask you a question that myself and many others have posted but I have never seen answered.

Why does your site time out so quick. Can't you do something to extend this time? Having to log in every five or ten minutes is a real pain.

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Doesn't look like an answer will come this time either, Englishman.

Let's give them the doubt for a little while since they may have their hands full with their site being down.

You never know....give him time.

This is my favorite book, good customer service and excellent betting lines on the European soccer. They credit your account quickly when you win. Overall, excellent.

Now, just this little matter of having to log on again every couple of bloody minutes!!!!

it was convenient to do site upgrades during the day when people make wagers, why not do it at 4 am instead? i had to use a different out to put in my cornell wager today, frustrating.

Jack,

Not sure why they won't answer this question. Do you think you could persuade them to answer this here?

i highly doubt the marketing staff will answer that question as it's not their department. i could be wrong but i don't remember wwts participating in forum discussions (some books won't). why not give them a call?

they may eventually tell you its a security feature, but that's not the reason.

it's nothing against them or their website, but it has to do with bandwith. the more users logged on at one time, the slower the site and that's why there are delays and slowness. books don't want others to have to wait or be bogged down because everyone is on there and not doing anything.

ask jack about when he upgraded his site so there wasn't a slowness during peak times like before nfl kickoff on sunday. it has to do with bandwidth and books don't want to pay more for it.

unfortunately, books are stingy when it comes to parting with their dollars. the good shops all make money as most do, but the last thing they want to spend their money on is bandwidth.

You may be correct BDB but as I understand it, bandwith is only consumed whent the screen is refreshed. Just sitting there does not consume their bandwith.

If I am wrong, please correct me.

i guess it can protect the player too because if you were at the library or some other public place and left the computer without logging out, somebody could come in and make bets. lame but true. protects the book from somebody claiming some BS story like that happening too.
