exactly the stereotype that gives gamblers a bad name.

Stupid and counter-productive. I'll be sure not to visit.

BHB, you've got the wrong target demographic. The type of gamblers that post on Mad Jack's are not the type that will be amused by that commercial or pictures of Pauly Shore in a mesh cap. Get that crap out to college age kids who have no clue about gambling and then maybe you'll get the response you're looking for.

To all the haters........LIGHTEN' UP A BIT!!!!!!!!!!!
Have you seen any other sportsbook out there creating a commercial for television?? Nick, don't worry, we weren't looking to take your $5 action anyways ;), just kidding man. Yes, we want the college kids who know nothing about sports and has daddy's credit card, lol...

"exactly the stereotype that gives gamblers a bad name." LOLOL, that was great. Isn't that one of those oxy-morons :tongue ...

Way to go.

Genius!

I will assume this is mostly a joke for the time being since no tv station in their right mind would ever run that commercial.

As if Congress, the politicians, the moral right, the anti-gambling crowd - whoever - needed any more ammo to knock down online gaming, heres a commercial featuring what a 15(?) year old kid dropping F bombs and glorifying how great it is to gamble. Real smart. Who do you expect would be attracted by a commercial like this? Where was it planning on running and what was your target demographic? 15 year olds who think its cool their older brother didnt get an education and bets on sports so maybe they should try it as well and have plasma tvs and strippers in their attic?

Drink beer from a bottle? Brilliant!

On the course!
Wow! I didn't know we had so many Mormons here!

Perhaps these guys never saw the anti-drug commercial that was lampooned to perfection in this ad? (That would be my guess.)

I think the ad could have done without the kid swearing, though.

I certainly am not running to sign up with you guys, but I thought the ad was alright.

Hey I'm no Mormon at all. But I want to see online sportsbetting become more, not less, respected. Can you imagine what happens if that commercial showed once on US TV? The moral cops would be on Capitol Hill the next morning, demanding - and probably getting - action finally on the online gaming bill.

I could think of much better ways to promote it that were maybe a little less abrasive(?), playing on the Beverly Hills theme, but thats just me.

I don't want online sports betting to ever be respected. Gambling is a vice, and therefore it is looked upon as such by the Government. I'm not saying it makes it any better that I gamble just because I know it's a vice. I'm just saying that the authorities shouldn't give explicit *or* implicit approval of something like gambling. I think the way they treat it now is O.K. They essentially look the other way if you are small time or if you do it as a hobby, but once you try to make a living at it or get big, then you have to watch your back.
