Being primarily a NFL bettor, I sometimes use stat sheets at the casinos here in Vegas during the off-season when I have a day off and visit the local bars. I just guess in baseball, basketball and hockey just to get some action and watch the games.

In baseball (more than others) trends seem to be helpful in picking winners. All the casinos now put a stat sheet on back of their baseball lines. On the far right column it is clearly marked CURR STREAK. One column is W/L and the other is O/U.

Last Friday, April 11, I was off and at the casino bar. I started looking at the stats for W/L streak. The first game was PIT @ CHN.
On the sheets is said PIT was L2 and the Cubs were W2.

I realized that this was totally wrong. PIT had won the day before and the Cubs had lost. Several others on the sheet were wrong on the streak column.

I went up to the sportsbook supervisor and was told that they have no interest or responsibility in checking the stats. I was told to talk to non stop sports, the ones who put out the stats.

www.nonstopsports.com had the stat sheets listed on their web site but they DID NOT HAVE A CURRENT STREAK COLUMN ON THEIR SHEETS!!!!!!!

Either the casinos or non stop sports are adding worng information to the stat sheets in the casinos. Many people use W/L stats in their picks, especially the casual once in a while bettor. The sportsbooks are intentially misleading their clients.

As per the example above, people would bet the Cubs who were W2 against the L2 Pirates, which was the opposite of facts.
PIT won the game.

It just goes to show that there is a lot of info out now, but its not always good. Know your source.
